Starside

Power is not inherited—it’s claimed.

Starside begins Alex Aster’s first adult romantasy in a world divided between immortals and mortals after a devastating ancient war. In the magical realm of Starside, descendants of the gods wield immense power, while those in Stormside are left fighting for scraps. Every fifty years, the gates between the worlds open, allowing fifty challengers to compete in a deadly quest for access to a legendary source of magic capable of changing everything.

Alex Aster delivers a high-stakes romantasy filled with dangerous trials, powerful magic, and ambitious rivals. With its blend of deadly competition, political tension, and mythical worldbuilding, this story explores destiny, survival, and the lengths people will go to claim power in a fractured world.
